Cryo 21 - Cryo-lipolysis
The suffix "cryo" is derived from the Greek "kryos" which means ice-cold. This technique was born in America, thanks to researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University. This methodology is approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. It uses cryo-lipolysis action to remove excess localized fat.
Operation and effects on body
Adipose fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the surrounding area, when cooled they undergo a process of slow and gradual spontaneous emptying, called "apoptosis" (programmed cell death). The lipids elimination from the body happens through liver, the gastrointestinal tract and lymphatic system, during 15 to 20 days.
Treatment is painless, there is a feeling of cold and, sometimes, at the end of the session, the treated area will present a diffuse redness.
Applications and treatments
Cryo 21 is also used on skin problems such as premature aging, wrinkles, erythrosis and couperose with the contribution of 21 cosmetic lines, specifically designed for cold diffusion.
The results are visible and measurable from the first session . Adequate number of treatments is defined according to the evaluation of beauty problem and thickness of the fat.
MAIN APPLICATIONS OF CRYO 21:
- Early aging
